Sirohi works with artisan clusters in Muzaffarnagar UP to make home decor products such as furniture, storage boxes and trays, handmade bags, and other home decor products. The products are made by converting industrial plastic waste such as MLP plastic wrappers and textile waste into ropes and dyeing them in various colors to make handcrafted products.

About the Founders:

Gauri Malik, after starting her career as an investment banker, she transitioned to social entrepreneurship, inspired by sustainable development models during a stint in Peru. In 2012, she founded Skilled Samaritan (SSF) to enable professionals to make a positive impact. Initially focused on rural electrification in Northern India with solar power, SSF now addresses plastic and textile waste through a circular economy model, using local women’s skills to create designer products from waste.
