Buzzworthy Ventures’ Humble Bee promotes ethical and sustainable beekeeping practices, empowering rural and tribal beekeepers and farmers, particularly women by providing fair prices, and enhanced capacities and livelihoods.
Incorporated in July 2023, the venture empowers small-scale beekeepers with scientific training, decision-tools, input-supplies, precision bee boxes and resources with the goal of making beekeeping a viable enterprise. To consumers, the venture offers ethically and sustainably harvested, authentic, and traceable honey from rich floral landscapes of India. Addressing a critical market gap, the company focuses on combating rampant adulteration in honey, even by renowned brands.
Humble Bee also wants to expand to other hive products like beeswax, pollen, propolis, royal jelly, and bee venom.

About the Founders:
Monika Shukla is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, overseeing marketing, product, and technology. She is a silver medalist Instrumentation Engineer from IIT Kharagpur and brings a wealth of technical expertise. She holds a Masters in Liberal Arts and Leadership from Ashoka University and has been a German Chancellor Fellow.
Vaibhav Trimukhe is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, focusing on community, capacity, and ecosystem development. With expertise in sustainable beekeeping and a background in Social Entrepreneurship from TISS Mumbai, he has previously worked with organizations like The Foundation for Ecological Security and The Goat Trust.
Varun Kashyap is the Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, driving growth, and partnerships. With a background in Mechanical Engineering from PEC, Chandigarh and a Masters in Liberal Arts and Leadership from Ashoka University, he's a seasoned entrepreneur with three ventures to his name.
